This Superb picture is taken from the b/w inner sleeve of the LP Too Hot To Sleep, one of his finest and not very well understood album. The pic is simple and shows Syl sat on a Director chair. Short hair and a sweet glimpse that reveals his smooth gentle figure. This shot was also used and printed on the Cerimony sheet for his funeral along with details and date for the final disposition.

This little photo is one of the most seen and used by press for articles and album reviews around 1978/79. Location unknown but from various Fans sources, the shot might have been taken on a "pause" in the "making of" the Video You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real) - San Francisco Trocadero Transfer Discoteque. The beauty in this picture is Syl's natural "relax", seating outside of a London Pub. It's hard to imagine the exact year when this pic was taken, let's say around 1979, when Syl had several gigs around uk due to the release of Mighty Real album by EMI, the uk version of Stars LP which features some extra tracks taken from previous LP. So... imagining Syl walking around some shopping areas in London taking a break somewhere to smoke a sigarette or, better yet having a drink with a friend...Sharon, who took this very nice picture!!

Automatt Studio - Fantasy Studio (?) • 1982 (?)

This picture shows Sylvester and Patrick Cowley working on a Mixing table - Automatt Studio in San Francisco or Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, who knows..? From Pat good shape and from the shot itself it might have been taken early 1982 while finishing the mix for Do Ya Wanna Funk, released later that same year in August, 82. If anyone has the clue, please let me know! It would be nice to add the correct info for this nice picture!
