Records released Sylvester's "final" album Mutual Attraction,
licensed to Warner by Megatone Records. Three great singles
were lifted of the album: Someone
Like You -
Mutual Attraction and
Sooner Or Later. Today
Warner Bros. Records remains one of Warner Music Group's most
dominant labels, having
exactly 121 artists on the label. |

Founded '81 by Marty Blecman,
this great "indipendent label" created the sound of so called "Hi-NRG".
The label released the first fantastic productions of Patrick
Cowley and later on big "Dance Hits" of artists like Sylvester,
Sarah Dash, Rockerty, Jeanie Tracy, Jo-Jo ecc. In the 90' the
label brokedown and its catalogue is nowadays owned by Unidisc,
Canada. |

This label is one of the
most relevant to Sylvester's career. Based
in Berkeley since 1970, Fantasy
continued
its success with
such
varied
artists
as
the Blackbyrds, Stanley Turrentine,
Sylvester, Ruth Brown, and Freddy Cole, as well as with the
best-selling Amadeus and The English Patient soundtracks,
and is today the country's largest independent label. |

Blue thumb was an American record
label founded in 1968 by Bob Krasnow, along with former A&M
Records executives Tommy Lipuma and Don Graham. Blue thumb released
Sylvester's
first two albums: Sylvester
& The hot Band,
Bazaar and
the very first "debut" on vinyl for Sylvester: Lights
Out In San Francisco,
a concept album-compilation were only two song are featured and
sung by Sylvester among various artists. |
